Diary: Thomas C. Middleton (1874-1878)

In this diary from 1874 to 1878, Middleton cites speaking with Julia Moulden. He sets off his notes from their conversation about the first Masses held at Belle Air and then Villanova with double lines both above and below and recorded her name and the date of their conversation. At the end of the passage he wrote, “From Julia Moulden Sep. 10th 1876.” This is the first time he formally cites speaking with someone about Villanova’s history, and it’s with Julia Moulden, though he doesn’t cite her again.
