Description

Ann Blackston was a girl indentured to John Rudolph in 1812. Her father, William Blackston signed his mark on the Certificate of Indenture.

Though little about Ann is described in the Certificate of Indenture, this census for William Blackston show nine people, all of whom were enumerated as "free blacks," living in William Blackson's household at the time of the 1810 census.
